How to read these figures

Liquidity is not the same as long-term resilience

Current and cash ratios focus on near-term obligations. Debt, equity and refinancing needs describe a different part of financial risk. A single ratio cannot establish whether a company can withstand a downturn; business type and the maturity of obligations also matter.

What does negative net debt mean?

Under the definition shown here, eligible cash exceeds recorded financial debt. This does not mean every liability has disappeared. Banks also fund operations differently from industrial companies, so their ratios need sector context. These figures are not a bankruptcy probability.
